This Is How I Roll, Pumpkin Roll

Have you ever attempted to make a jelly roll and or cream roll? If not, now is your chance to get in the kitchen and make an awesome dessert that will impress everyone you know.

I am not sure what is so intriguing about the cake rolls. Perhaps it’s the swirl pattern that makes them look so stunning. Cake rolls are a great example of taking a piece of food and presenting it in a way that makes it more visually appealing.

Cake rolls don’t have any fancy frosting patterns, and as far as the frosting is concerned. It’s on the inside. All you have to do is make a sheet cake and once the cake is finished you frost on the side (usually the bottom part), roll it up, then slice to desired portion size. The only other decorating is dusting the cake with powdered sugar which is not required.
