Much like the versatility of shrimp, this recipe is also really versatile and it can be paired with pasta, steamed rice, or a side of bread. Personally, we like serving this dish with few slices of bread like a french baguette. The bread can be used to soak up the juices which are a must! Flavor explosion coming your way.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of raw medium or large shrimp
- 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
- 3 large garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 pinch red chili flakes (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 french baguette (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and devein the shrimp if this is not already done.
- Heat up a pan to medium-high heat with the olive oil, butter, garlic, and chili flakes (optional). Constantly stir allowing the garlic to cook not brown for about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp, paprika, and lemon juice. Stir the shrimp allowing all sides to turn pinkish-orange which takes 2-3 minutes. Turn off the heat, add the parsley, season with a small pinch of salt and pepper. Stir a few times making sure the parsley is well mixed into the rest of the dish along with salt and pepper.
- Serve desired portion in a bowl with a few slices of french baguette.

Why go thru all these pages to get the recipe?
LOL!!!! I agree!!!
Looks delicious. Pinned it.
Hi LuAnn, what spices did you add? Maybe we can recreate your version.
Because I don’t like articles in which you have to scroll a mile down the page to see the recipe. We want the experience to be like flipping the pages of a magazine or cookbook. Besides, our audience finds it easier to digest the content this way.
Thanks Kasey.
