The Trick To Easy And Delicious Garlic Shrimp

Much like the versatility of shrimp, this recipe is also really versatile and it can be paired with pasta, steamed rice, or a side of bread. Personally, we like serving this dish with few slices of bread like a french baguette. The bread can be used to soak up the juices which are a must! Flavor explosion coming your way.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of raw medium or large shrimp
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
  • 3 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 pinch red chili flakes (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 french baguette (optional)

Instructions

  • Peel and devein the shrimp if this is not already done.
  • Heat up a pan to medium-high heat with the olive oil, butter, garlic, and chili flakes (optional). Constantly stir allowing the garlic to cook not brown for about 1 minute.
  • Add the shrimp, paprika, and lemon juice. Stir the shrimp allowing all sides to turn pinkish-orange which takes 2-3 minutes. Turn off the heat, add the parsley, season with a small pinch of salt and pepper. Stir a few times making sure the parsley is well mixed into the rest of the dish along with salt and pepper.
  • Serve desired portion in a bowl with a few slices of french baguette.
