Whenever I make chili at home, cornbread is often made to accompany the chili. Some people like to put soup crackers in their chili but cornbread really makes chili an incredible meal.
Since cornbread is often served with the chili, why not make a chili and then turn the cornbread into a crust like when you make shepherds pie?
