It’s nice being able to rely on a sandwich that you can eat for breakfast or lunch. You can’t usually say that about most sandwiches because they are a little too heavy for breakfast.
Isn’t it ironic how you can’t have a ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast but you can have a ham and cheese croissant? Not really sure, why the human brain is wired that way. The only logical explanation I have been able to reach is that we associate croissants as a morning pastry often eaten with breakfast, so turning a croissant into a morning breakfast is totally normal.
Since your brain is all for ham and cheese croissants for breakfast give this recipe a try. It takes a standard bakery croissant and spruces it up with a few seeds and glaze that is almost so simple you will want to kick yourself for not thinking of it first.
