I recently wrote about chicken pot pie being made into a hand pie and people really loved the recipe so I figured sharing another hand pie recipe would be a good idea.
The pie I am referring to is Shepherd’s Pie. Originally, shepherd’s pie is a meat pie with veggies that is topped offed with a mashed potato crust. To serve the “pie”, you simply scoop a desired portion size onto a plate and chow down.
Since shepherd’s pie already contains potatoes in the stuffing, omitting the smashed potato crust entirely and switching to pie crust allows you to create…..the hand pie![nextpagelink][/nextpagelink]
