Our last and final apple pie is an actual apple which you will commonly find in the states. A couple of variations include a simple pie crust to top off the pie, a lattice (such as the picture below), or more elaborate decorations made with dough. No matter how you slice it, apple pie has many faces and you should try all of them to keep life a little more interesting.
