Forget The Frying Pan-Oven Fried Pork Chops

There are times you need to leave the frying pan alone and reach for the door oven. It’s a great way of cutting down on fried food and having to dispose of cooking oil which is bad for the environment. These pork chop’s will having you not only satisfied but feeling good about your health and the environment.


Ingredients 

  • 4pork chops
  • 2tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1egg, beaten
  • 2tablespoons milk
  • 14teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup herb seasoned stuffing mix or 1 cup herbed breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. Trim the fat from the meat.

  2. Pour butter into a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

  3. Combine eggs, milk, and pepper.

  4. Dip the pork chops into the egg mixture.

  5. Coat with stuffing mix or bread crumbs.

  6. Place pork chops in the pan.

  7. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 10 minutes. Turn chops. Bake about 10 minutes more or till no pink remains and juices run clear.
