There is a pretty good chance you are familiar with Chicken Kiev except it was being called something else. Several recipes out there resemble the Eastern European dish but should not be confused.
In the US you probably at this dish stuffed with cheese and broccoli, or stuffed with cheese and ham resembling chicken cordon bleu.
Traditionally the dish is prepared by pounding out a chicken breast, and then rolling it up in an herbed parsley-dill butter. After dipping breast in an egg wash, it is then covered in breadcrumbs and either fried or baked.
