I was never a big fan of key lime pie because most of the recipes I have tried were too tart or too sweet. There was never that perfect balance.
Other times the lime custard was really good, but the crust was completely flavorless so once again key lime pie was ruined for me.
I think I have finally found the perfect key lime pie. The lime filling is supposed to be a little tart and a little sweet while the crust is a chocolate crust. This is the first key lime pie I have ever come across that has a chocolate crust making this key lime pie an excellent dessert choice.
