Plum Pinot Noir Sorbet, The Balance Of Sweet And Tartness

Plum Pinot Noir sorbet is one of the coolest sorbets I have ever come across. Much like ice cream, sorbets give you the ability to experiment with wild flavor combinations such as this one.

Infusing your sorbet with wine is a great way of naturally cutting down on the sweetness. The acidity of the wine helps add a hint of tartness to this chilled dessert making it more palatable.

 

I love ice cream and sorbets, and will probably continue to love them the rest of my life, but I do not want a dessert that is practically all sugar, which makes this sorbet perfect balance of sweet and tartness.
