The world of food is an amazing place and it continues to inspire me every single day. Recipe’s like this s’mores banana pie are a perfect example of people being creative with food. This recipe does not require you to be a master chef or pastry chef. All you basically need is the ability to follow directions, check out the recipe. They also have a video which I highly recommend you watch.
Ingredients
1 banana, sliced
2 sheets puff pastry (15cm x 20cm)
extra puff pastry for decoration
2 bars chocolate
12 marshmallows, cut in half
1 egg yolk
Directions
Place 1 chocolate bar on top of puff pastry sheet. Top with half the banana slices.
Twist extra puff pastry into a braid.
Place braided pastry on top to create a decorative border. Combine 1 egg yolk with 2 tsp water and mix well.
Brush pastry with egg wash. Bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees C.
Take pastry out of the oven and place marshmallows on top. Bake once more to until marshmallows are nice and toasted.
