It’s incredible how a simple herb grows wild almost everywhere can give lamb such an incredible flavor. I would even go as far to say that lamb simply can not be served with out two ingredients. Mint and rosemary. Those two herbs alone are huge with lamb.
Lets just focus on the rosemary for today though. The reason being as I mentioned before, its availability. There is a pretty good chance rosemary is growing in your front yard, if not heck your neighbors yard.
There is bound to be plenty of free rosemary in your neighborhood so go nuts. Once you have grabbed a few sprigs it’s time to put that lamb rosemary to good use like in this oven roasted lamb shank video below.
