Ingredients

  1. 1 Package (roughly 2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  2.  1 1/3 cups warm (110°-115°) water
  3. 3 1/2 to 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  4. 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  5. 1 Tablespoon salt
  6. 1 Tablespoon sugar

Directions

  1. Pour the entire dry yeast contents into a the bowl of your Kitchen Aid.
  2. Pour the warm water in the bowl with yeast. Allow the yeast to completely dissolve, this takes 3-5 minutes.
  3. Once the yeast and water are completely dissolved. Hook your bowl into your Kitchen Aid, add the flour, olive oil, salt, and sugar. Using the cook attachment mix on low speed for roughly two minutes allowing all the ingredients to form a nice tight ball.
  4. Scrape the dough from the mixing cook, forming a ball with the down in the bowl.
  5. Spray the pizza ball with Pam cooking spray or any other type of cooking spray. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
  6. Place the covered bowl in a warm place in the kitchen and allow the dough to rise. Allow the dough to double in size which takes roughly 1-1½ hours.
  7. Once the dough has risen punch the down down and divide in ½.
  8. Form the dough in balls and allow each ball to rest at least 15 minutes before using.
  9. After the dough has rested roll the dough out to the desired shape and cover with your favorite marinara and toppings.
