You’re probably wondering,”where is he going with this”? Let me take a step back and explain a little bit. Picchiapo is an Italian dish specificaly with Roman origin. The dish is made by reusing left over beef, shredding it then turning into this hardy meal.

That my friends is the very simply summary of this dish which I bet my arm and two leg you have never heard of. Most people that I know probably won’t have left over beef for shredding so the best way in my opinion, is to start fresh.

You will need to make a beef stock which will allow the meet to be soft so you can shred (don’t worry this is super easy). Once the meet is ready you shred and move onto making the Picchiapo.
