What the heck is a lychee (pronounced lee-chee)? This little exotic fruit is both delicious and mesmerizing. The fruit is commonly found in warm slightly humid weather through out Asia. The outside is slightly hard resembling the skin of an avocado with the color of a raspberry.
Once you peel back the skin it reveals a whitish translucent flesh that can be used in a wide variety of recipes like this martini. I highly recommend not being afraid to try something new.
