Football Sunday Guacamole

Fresh guac is super easy to make so purchasing some at the store should be avoided at all costs.

Ingredients 

  • 2 Large avocados
  • 2 Large Roma tomatoes diced
  • 1/4 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1 medium garlic clove minced
  • 1/2 fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/2 lemon
  • salt to taste (roughly 1/8 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Remove the pits from the avocados, scrape out the avocados with a spoon. Place the avocados in glass bowl or baking dish then smash with a fork, until you have a chunky paste (for smooth guacamole press the peeled and seedless avocados through a potato ricer).
  2. Add your tomatoes, onion, garlic, and cilantro. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon into the rest of the ingredients. Stir the ingredients for 30 seconds. Season with salt. Stir the guac again for 30 seconds.
  3. Place in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes. Serve with your favorite brand of tortilla chips.
