When it comes to food, I am all for convenience. Chicken and veggie wraps (aka cold burritos)? Done. Falafel, yes, please! Gyros and shwarma? I’ll take one of each, thank you very much.
Whether it’s a tortilla, pita, naan, or lavash. You just can’t go wrong with the power and convenience of food that comes in an edible serving vessel. I think I have written about this very topic nearly a hundred times.
Okay, maybe not that many times but it sure feels like I bring up the edible vessel all the time.
Sorry to get a little corny (Get it? food joke), but there is just something beautiful about being able to eat a meal with your hands. I thoroughly enjoy meals that do not require plates or silverware.
That beauty continues with one of the most epic chicken doner kabob recipes I have seen in a long time. The recipe comes from Nagi of Recipe Tin Eats. In the Facebook video below. Nagi puts together a beautiful chicken donner kebab shwarma that doesn’t require any fancy tools or culinary degree.
What I liked most about her Facebook video, is that you get the feeling this recipe could actually be made at home. I research a lot of recipes a day and they sometimes leave me wondering. “Can I really make this at home?” You won’t experience that with this recipe.
This recipe can undoubtedly be recreated at home.
